Eastern Panorama from the Headland at Achnahaird Bay

To the North is the large mass of Quinag with the south western prospect in full view over Enard Bay. The unmistakeable profile of Suilven stands high above the surounding terrain, with Canisp and the ridge of Conival and Ben More Assynt virtually hidden behind the ridge of the mountain. Of the long ridge forming the eastern extremity of Assynt, only the long ridge of Breabag is clearly visible on the far horizon. The Coigach mountains cluster together with Stac Pollaidh viewed virtually end on, Cul Mor stands beyond and to the left and Cul Beag is seen to the right and partly hidden. The double tops of Beinn an Eoin fill the valley before the long ridge of Ben Mor Coigach is reached to the south west over Loch Osgaig. The viewpoint is the grassy knoll on the headland to the east of the sandy bay and camp site at Achnahaird.
